I know "Old Time Religion" entirely through verses added by various people referencing older religions; I don't think I've ever heard it performed completely straight. One of my favourites, because I have a fondness for over-elaborate rhymes, goes something like:
Let us pray to Quetzalcoatl With him, victory is toatl (Well, the proof is anecdoatl, But it's good enough for me!)
