I have just been alerted that there is a resizeable text box on the new beta version of the post writing page! I... don't like that the icon picker is at the bottom. But I can read what I'm writing now! :D I might try to get over here more often.

Hi! Interesting to hear what works for you on the new page -- I've been using it for so long I don't notice, but a lot of others who have transferred have been either quiet or uniformly negative.

Aw, that's cool. I haven't looked at it myself yet, but someone else on my flist mentioned the icon thing, and apparently you should be able to move elements on the new page and put the icon picker at the top? <3

I'm pretty neutral on the new post-writing page, but then, I'm on a laptop. I'm hopeful that it'll be more accessible for those on mobile.

(I actually went ahead and hid the icon picker, myself, since I've never been in the habit of doing the mood-icon thing.)

I don't think you can put the icon picker *above* the main text field (not sure if that's what you were thinking of), but if you go into "settings" mode you can rearrange the order of the segments *after* the main text field.
